Partner Will Frank to present at Land Use Seminar @ Four Points by Sheraton Melville Long Island

Blustein, Shapiro, Rich & Barone, LLP Partner William Frank will be a featured speaker at “Land Use Law: Current Issues in Subdivision, Annexation & Zoning,” a seminar being offered by the National Business Institute on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Long Island.

Mr. Frank, the head of BSR&B’s municipal law department, will be presenting both “Take A Comprehensive Look At Land Use Law” and “Ethics In Land Use” segments of the day-long seminar.

Other segments include “Analyze The Land Subdivision Process,” “Understand The Development And Utilization Of The Comprehensive Plan,” “Be Alert To The Legal And Practical Considerations Of Annexation,” and “Stay On Top Of Environmental Considerations.”

This intermediate level seminar, intended to provide information needed to confidently handle subdivision, annexation and zoning processes, is designed for attorneys, city and urban planners, local zoning and land use officials, developers, engineers, appraisers, and surveyors. Attendees will earn Continuing Education Credits applicable to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Mr. Frank, the head of BSR&B’s municipal law department, serves as town attorney and village attorney for numerous municipalities throughout the Hudson Valley, as well as special counsel to several other Hudson Valley municipalities in matters including public sector labor relations and municipal code prosecutions. Mr. Frank also practices in the areas of banking, serving as general and primary lending counsel to a multi-branch regional bank, commercial transactions, real estate, guardianship, and litigation.
